About Trina D. Banerjee, M.D.

Dr. Banerjee takes her business’ motto of “Giving you the personal and gentle care you deserve” very seriously. This credo guides not only her but also the entire office staff as they take care of patients with kidney disease. After being accepted to medical school while a senior in high school, Dr Banerjee went on to become a board-certified nephrologist who completed her fellowship training at NYU in Manhattan. She went on to found the Banerjee Kidney Center in Mullica Hill, serving as both president and owner in 2019. In addition, she is core faculty at Inspira Mullica Hill, where she treats patients and teaches residents. Dr. Banerjee also goes to multiple dialysis units in the South Jersey area. She has more than a decade of experience taking care of patients with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones and electrolyte disorders. Dr. Banerjee is passionate about her job, and believes in not only being at the top of her field, but also treating every patient with kindness and consideration.

Michele Bustard , APN, CNN-NP

Dr. Michele Bustard, DNP, APN, CNN-NP

Dr. Michele Bustard, DNP, APN, CNN-NP, has been with Banerjee Kidney Center since July 2021. She has served as a nurse practitioner since 2017 and has been a nurse since 1995. In May 2026, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.

As part of her doctoral work, Michele researched the impact of sodium on kidney health and developed a clinical practice guideline that was implemented in the practice to help preserve and prolong renal function in patients with kidney disease.

Outside of work, Michele enjoys car and motorcycle racing, as well as traveling. She is happily married and has two grown children. She also loves spending time with her two dachshunds, Hewey and Louie.

Alexis Hilton, PA-C

Alexis Hilton, PA-C

Alexis Hilton, PA-C has been a practicing physician assistant for 17 years. She graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2006 with a bachelors in PA studies and has worked largely with geriatrics since then. Alexis began working at the Banerjee Kidney Center in February 2021 and although she is part time there, she is fully committed to providing the best care for all her patients. As a living kidney donor herself, nephrology is near and dear to Alexis’ heart, and she feels a special connection to this population of patients. When Alexis isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cuddling her two dogs, and riding her Peloton.
Stacy J Hudson, MSN, APN

Stacy J Hudson, MSN, APRN, ACAGNP-BC, CCRN

Nephrology Nurse Practitioner

With over 20 years of experience in intensive care unit (ICU) settings, Stacy J Hudson brings a wealth of clinical expertise and compassion to her role as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner. She recently graduated from Chamberlain University in 2024 with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as an Acute Care Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), and is committed to providing high-quality care to patients with complex nephrology needs, since joining Banerjee Kidney Center August 2024.

Throughout her career, Stacy J Hudson has honed her skills in critical care, working in a fast-paced ICU environment where she managed critically ill patients with a range of conditions, including acute kidney injury, sepsis, and multi-organ failure. Her extensive ICU experience has provided her with a solid foundation in handling complex medical cases, which she now applies in her nephrology practice to provide comprehensive care to patients dealing with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, and hypertension-related kidney disorders.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Stacy J Hudson is dedicated to patient education and helping individuals navigate their kidney disease journey. She works closely with patients and their families to ensure they understand treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.

Outside of her professional career, Stacy J Hudson values family time and enjoys spending time with her spouse and three children. She believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and strives to set an example of both professional dedication and family commitment.
